Susan is a Founder and President of Integrated Community Holistic Care (ICHCare Inc.) Susan obtained early education and Diploma in Education in Kenya where she taught high school students. She relocated to the US in 1992 and transitioned her career to nursing, beginning from the entry level as a Certified Nurse Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse and Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) with concentration in Leadership and Management.

About Me
As a seasoned Registered Nurse with over 30 years of experience in both direct clinical care and leadership, Susan brings a comprehensive background and expertise in home health care (ChildrenFirst), long-term care (Orlando Health Park), and acute care hospital (AdventHealth Orlando) environments. Currently, as a Senior Program Manager, Susan leads and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to enhance clinical pathways and performance, standardization of clinical processes, and ensures compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, as well as evidence-based national guidelines. Additionally, Susan has played an integral role in improving performance metrics, ensuring accurate data collection, to maintain integrity in outcomes.
Outside the work environment, Susan has partnered with community outreach organizations to extend health awareness and education to underserved communities. Her dedication to improve health outcomes for vulnerable populations drives her efforts, both professionally and in community service. Evidence-based research supports the significant impact of socioeconomic factors on the health of vulnerable populations. There is an immediate need to mitigate health disparities through promoting health awareness, timely access to health services, and disease management.
Susan aims to collaborate with and to engage community stakeholders, experts, and liaisons to identify, develop, and implement sustainable services and programs that embrace a ``whole-person care`` approach, addressing not just physical health but also the mental, emotional, and social well-being of individuals.
